Rated capacity assumes the brackets are fixed into wall studs or into a solid backer board screwed across the studs, with the load spread evenly - do not hang a loaded shelf from plasterboard anchors alone. Hand-tighten the nuts onto the welded studs; do not overtighten.

Hand-tighten the nuts onto the welded studs; do not overtighten. A 1 in. rear backsplash keeps items from sliding off behind the shelf, and the bullnose front edge is rounded and smooth.
