- New to Fish Keeping? We've Got You Covered. Tired of worrying whether your fish is fed, the water stays clean, or the temperature is right, especially when you're traveling for work or on vacation? The Jengu M1 is a complete smart aquarium. Actual water is about 4.5 gallons, so it is ideal for a betta, a few guppies, shrimp, or snails. It handles daily feeding, monitors water temperature, and is fully controllable from your phone. No extra parts to buy, no guesswork. Set it up once and enjoy your fish. Perfect for beginners and busy people.
- Easy Control, Your Way. Too tired to get up from the couch? Use the free Jengu app to adjust lighting, pump flow, feeding schedules, and child lock right from your phone (requires 2.4GHz WiFi, 5GHz incompatible). No WiFi or phone handy? The four physical buttons on the lid work completely offline — same controls, no network needed. Technology makes it easy, and you still get the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
- Never Miss a Feeding, Even When You're Away. Gone for weeks at a time? The built-in automatic feeder schedules meals and sets how many portions per feeding from your phone, so your fish eats on time even when you're not there. Tap the lid button for an instant snack when you're home. Important: the minimum portion is made for small community fish. If you keep a single betta, feed every other day, not daily — bettas eat everything you give them and can bloat or die from overfeeding. Use pellets 2mm or smaller in diameter so the feeder dispenses reliably every time.
- Quiet Enough for Your Bedroom, Powerful Enough for Clean Water. The 3-speed pump runs at just 28dB, quieter than a library — put it on your nightstand and it won't disturb your sleep. Pick the flow that fits your fish: Low (2L/min/32GPH) for betta and shrimp, Medium (3L/min/48GPH) for guppy and tetra, High (4L/min/63GPH) for goldfish or extra filtration. Run it low at night, high during the day. You'll forget it's running.
- Clear Water and Healthy Fish, Without the Hassle. Two-stage filtration keeps the water crystal clear: the mechanical cartridge catches debris (replace every 3 months), and the biological media grows beneficial bacteria that keep the tank stable (replace every 6 months, never rinse it with tap water). The built-in sensor also tracks water temperature and sends phone alerts if something is off — clean the probe monthly for best accuracy. Less time cleaning, more time enjoying your fish.
- Grow Plants Beautifully, See Every Color. The built-in full-spectrum LED doubles as a plant grow light. It makes fish colors pop and supports live plants, so you skip a separate light. 7 modes include South American, Brook, White, Night, Sunlight, Flowing, and Aquarium; set the timer and brightness, with 4-6 hours daily for healthy growth. Rimless 5mm low-iron glass gives a crystal-clear view, and the locking sealed lid keeps curious cats out for the best view in the house.
- Everything in the Box, Nothing to Figure Out. INCLUDES: glass tank, smart lid with auto feeder, full-spectrum LED, and temperature display, quiet pump, mechanical filter cartridge, biological filter media, drain tube, setup guide, fish care card. NOT INCLUDED: heater (any adjustable heater works, Jengu 100W compatible), substrate, decor, fish, food. 1-year warranty on tank and mainboard. 24/7 customer support. Most people set it up in under 30 minutes, even beginners.
- A GIFT THAT BRINGS LIFE TO ANY ROOM - This complete, ready-to-use kit is ideal for betta enthusiasts, first-time hobbyists, and kids curious about aquatic life. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming gift — a living piece of decor that adds calm to any space. Arrives ready to set up, so the recipient can start the same day.

Directions
Water — Use purified or dechlorinated tap water. Aquascape first, then add water to keep it crystal clear from the start. Cycling — Run the pump for at least 48 hours before adding fish. This builds beneficial bacteria and stabilizes the water. Acclimation — Float the sealed fish bag on the water surface for 20–30 minutes, then net the fish into the tank. This prevents temperature shock and stress. Cleaning — The back filter chamber and cartridges are fully removable and washable. Deep cleaning is straightforward — no difficult corners, no special tools. Water Changes — When the lid stays closed, water doesn't evaporate. Change about one-third of the water once a month to keep parameters stable. If the lid is often open, top off regularly to maintain the water level above the minimum line.
