Cutting a hard wire of 2.0 mm in diameter with High Leverage Combination Pliers of 180 mm length requires a handforce of only 318 N (31.8 kp) instead of 486 N (48.6 kp) with common Combination Pliers of the same length. Features gripping zones for flat or round material and induction-hardened cutting edges that cut soft, hard, and piano wire. Also features long cutting edges for thicker cables. 35% savings in power due to new and improved lever action. Manufactured from high-grade special tool steel that is forged and oil-hardened. KNIPEX 02 01 180 High Leverage Combination Pliers
High leverage combination pliers enable particularly efficient amplification of manual force. Thanks to their design, they cut significantly easier than conventional combination pliers and can also cut very hard materials, such as piano wire. They can also grip with significantly less effort.
