4" Square Steel Electrical Box Kit, Two 20A Tamper-Resistant Duplex Outlets
15 sold in last 24 hours
- QUAD OUTLET IN ONE BOX — Two 20 amp duplex receptacles mounted in a single 4x4 metal electrical box gives you four grounded plugs where a standard single-gang box would give you two. This is the box you set behind a workbench, a rack, a garage freezer and compressor, or anywhere the extension cords have quietly multiplied and you would rather do it right.
- EVERYTHING IN ONE ORDER — The kit ships with the 4x4 drawn steel outlet box, a raised 2-gang duplex receptacle cover, two tamper resistant receptacles, and the copper grounding screw and wire. No separate trip for a cover that fits, no hunting for the right depth. Open the bag and the whole assembly is in front of you.
- DRAWN STEEL CONSTRUCTION — The box is formed by the drawn method, so the body is a single piece of steel with no welded seams to split when the conduit gets torqued down. Twenty-one cubic inches of capacity at a 1-1/2 inch depth, and a raised ground provision with screw already in place for a clean bonding path.
- SIXTEEN KNOCKOUTS — Ten 1/2-inch and six 3/4-inch knockouts, arranged as eight 1/2-inch and four 3/4-inch on the sides plus two of each on the bottom. Whichever direction the conduit or cable comes from, there is an opening waiting, and the ones you do not use stay closed.
- COMMERCIAL GRADE 20 AMP OUTLETS — These are not builder-grade receptacles. Full saddle yoke, self-grounding, impact resistant face, tamper resistant shutters, rated 125V 2-pole 3-wire at 20 amps. That is the spec that holds up to a shop vac, a compressor, and a space heater sharing the same box.
- BUILT FOR EXPOSED WORK — Surface mounted on a block wall, a stud face, or an exposed conduit run, the metal box and raised cover give the receptacles the protection and grounding continuity that a plastic box cannot. Garages, basements, warehouses, and mechanical rooms are exactly where this belongs.
- SEVEN KIT CONFIGURATIONS — Same box, same steel, different device layouts: single duplex, single receptacle, double rocker with GFI, double toggle, and rocker GFI combinations. Whatever the circuit calls for, the matching kit is one click away in this listing.
- AIRMONT PRODUCTS QUALITY — Built for reliability and durability on every electrical installation, because electricians know us, and we know electricians.
