Large D ring and standard size D ring for pass thru
The Guardian Fall Protection Cross Arm Strap is a reusable anchorage connector that can be used in a variety of fall protection applications. To use, loop over a steel support beam or other compatible anchor, and pull the small D-ring through the pass-through loop (or second, larger D-ring). Connect to the Cross Arm Strap D-ring with a compatible lanyard or SRL, and you are ready to work.
Installation:
All components of the personal fall arrest system must be selected and deemed compatible with the applicable Cross Arm Strap by a Competent Person.
Pass small D-ring through large D-ring and pull until strap is taut. Cross Arm Strap may be looped around structural anchor multiple times to reduce excess length.
For Cable Choker with snap hook ends, connect snap hook directly to cable. Never attach snap hook directly to Cable Eye or other snap hook.
For Cable Choker with thimble ends, connect thimble ends with compatible carabiner.
Connect complete and compatible PFAS to small D-ring, or to cable if applicable.
Personal Fall Arrest
This shock absorbing lanyard may be used to support a maximum 1 PFAS only when used in combination with compatible shock absorber extension.
Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lb.
Maximum free fall is 6ft., or up to 12ft.
Applicable D-ring: Dorsal
Restraint
Restraint systems prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard.
Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 1,000 lb.
No free fall is permitted. Restraint systems may only be used on surfaces with slopes up to 4/12 (vertical/horizontal)
Applicable D-rings: Dorsal, Chest, Side, Shoulder
Pass through D-Rings
This anchorage connector consists of a small D-ring and a larger D-ring.
It is designed for quick and easy installation.
To use, loop over a steel support beam or other compatible anchor and pull the small D-ring through the second, larger D-ring.
Then, connect a snap hook or carabineer component of a complete and compatible PFAS to the smaller D-ring of Cross Arm Strap.
